The Province of Alberta has created a new immigration strategic stream that will enable the US temporary workers under H1B, H1-B1, H1C & E3 visa holders to apply for the fast-tracked Canadian Permanent Residency under the Provincial Nominee Program. Canada is more open and relaxed when it comes to Permanent Residency compare to the US. If the applicant qualifies, the time it takes to process the application is less than a year.
