Live-In Caregiver - After 2 years of employment, you are eligible to apply for Permanent Residence as well as your family abroad. Must have 6-months caregiver training or 12-months caregiving experience.
If you have a degree in Nursing, Early Childhood Education or Elementary teaching, you do not need to meet the training or experience requirements.
Skilled Worker
For Federal Skilled Worker, you must obtain a passing mark of 67 points to qualify for immigration.
For Provincial Nominee Program, you must have a Canadian employer to sponsor your application. This is a fast-track process and usually gets the Permanent resident visa in 6-12 months.
Business Visa - has 3 categories: Investor, Self-employed and Entrepreneur. Does not need to have higher education as long as work experience and financial requirements are met.
Temporary Foreign Worker - Western Canada's economy is booming and with this comes labour shortages. Canada is in need of foreign workers. Areas in tourism, IT, constuctions/trades, hospitality and healthcare are amongst the most critical needs.
